How much does it cost?

MySurgAssist is an entirely free service for consultant surgeons and practices! MySurgAssist is remunerated for our recruitment process by handling all assistant billing. We therefore request that all assistant remuneration occurs via MySurgAssist including all hourly rates or pre-collected assist fees. See info on Billing below. 

How do I know I MY ASSISTANT HAS THE RIGHT SET OF SKILLS?

This is MySurgAssist’s speciality. Our recruitment specialists are surgical assistants and have a first-hand understanding of the need to screen candidates for high-level skills such as laparoscopic and bariatric assisting, orthopaedic joint replacement or robotic assisting. We will then endeavour to match the right candidate to your needs.

How do I pay the assistant?

As the surgeon and practice, it is entirely up to you how you renumerate your assistant. However we ask that all payments be made to MySurgAssist, and we will then disburse fees to assistants. We are happy to assist negotiations and provide advice regarding the surgical assisting market to tailor expectations. See info on Billing below.

What if the Assistant doesn’t show up?

In the unlikely scenario that an assistant does not attend a list without notice, no fee will be charged. With another notice MySurgAssist will quickly aim to find a replacement for you.
